Automation Ideas for the Future

Industrial Engineering Company (IEC) designs and manufacturers specialized automation equipment, robots, machine and tools.  IEC is a well-diversified company with an ultimate goal to increase its customer's productivity.  IEC was founded in 1970 by Alois (Joe) Kosch and Maurice Melcher, and is currently owned by Alois (Joe) Kosch and IEC's employees.

IEC's customers include worldwide companies in various fields. The machines designed and produced encompass manufacturing operations of different types. IEC has designed and produced machines from high speed machining, forming, fabrication, welding testing and packaging of products, utilizing material ranging from hair to structural steel to titanium.  IEC is well diversified in its capability all-pointing towards the ultimate goal of increasing the productivity of their customers.  IEC also has a machine shop and does custom jobs on a regular basis.

Using the latest technology has given IEC the capacity to design and produce machines required
to perform complicated tasks and has contributed to the success of IEC. It has seven numerical   controlled (NC) machine tools, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and a Computer Aided Design (CAD) system, in addition to various other tools generally used in the trade. Providing
machines that fabricate high quality end products is reflected by its satisfied customers.
